I had the opportunity to meet a wonderful, young lady this past weekend. Her name is Jamie and she was diagnosed with Grave's Disease, which means that her thyroid is hyperactive. I think it is interesting that I have the opposite problem (mine is under active), but yet the symptoms can be very similar.
At her worst point, Jamie could barely get out of bed, she had no energy, her skin was very dry, her hair was falling out and her eyes were beginning to bulge. She said that she would drink around 8 Cokes a day just to try to stay awake and she was still falling asleep at the wheel. On top of all of that, she couldn't get pregnant - not surprising, is it?
Shortly before she was to have surgery on her thyroid, she was introduced to Reliv. She started flooding her body with good nutrition and within a short period of time she was up and felt like she had energy. She was able to avoid surgery and all of her symptoms have gone away. Her eyes are no longer bulging and I got to meet her beautiful little girl this weekend, too! She is so happy that she has her life back and her baby girl!

When Jamie was telling her story she got choked up when she got to the part about being able to conceive her little girl, and so did a lot of other people! It is stories like this one that make me thank God for the gift of Reliv!
